2022.01.25 04:41 shapag16 TIFU by tearing my banjo string (frenulum) during sex
Had this horrific experience. I was going at it with my ex from about 3 years back, drunk as a skunk and fucking like a bloody porno. Next thing I know there blood pissing out of my dangar which stained the duvet cover, carpet, even got some on my walls. It looked like a sheep had gotten slaughtered in my bed.
There wasnt any pain at the time, moreso just shocked and stunned. I had my mates down the corridor which was the way to the bathroom. So me and my ex climb out the window and into the bathroom window to not get an absolute bollocking from the crowd.
In the shower, im investigating the culprit of the murder scene, and I see the stringy bit that connects your head to the shaft at the back end has snapped. Like, there is litterally a shark fin on the tip from where it was connected.
Baby shark is now in recovery mode, and will not likely see any action for the best part of a month.
RIP little guy
TL;DR snapped my banjo string during sex with my ex that caused a murder scene.

2022.01.25 04:41 UFOsAustralia People who greatly underestimate an animal's intelligence, are themselves, an idiot.
his kind of informI too have in the past considered most animals to be dumb and 2 dimensional. However, after living in the bush with no electricity, running water or any other modern luxury, except a small hand held radio, for some years, I realised that the animals around me were infact quite intelligent and brilliant in their own way. Except turtles, my god, are they dumb. Cute though. Let me explain: I spent most of my time outside, either with my chickens or with the random kangaroos that originally emboldened themselves by breaking into my hut and stealing my wheatbix, Despite my 3 dogs. After a while of watching my chickens, i realised that they weren't empty minded idiots and infact were quite aware of their surroundings, not only of inanimate objects or things that moved or made noise, like cars, but of each other and other animals. The rooster, Mouldyhead as we affectionately called him, knew exactly how much his hens had eaten in any given amount of time and would spend a majority of his time finding food and taking it to the hen who had consumed the least. He knew well before us that our oldest hen, Milly, had reached her final days and he was far more keen a guard chicken than my even German-shepard. We also noticed after some time that they methodically comb areas in a specific search pattern, but depending on which chicken and what "rank" they held, for lack of a better term. And that's just one chicken. Even the wasps that made my roof their home would do a similar thing, while searching for nesting materials, would search an area in a beautiful, almost programmed fashion, zig zagging from left to right and either lowering or increasing their height with each pass to the point that you could tell that they hadn't missed a single square centimeter of their target area. The kangaroos, which i now respect in a much more intense way, were a brilliant judge of character, and one we named radar, was after only a couple weeks, able to request different types of food with the gestures he made, bringing his little paws up to his mouth (actually might have been a girl, pretty faced wallaby). He loved sweet potato and would often tap on the metal bin which held our root vegetables. It became clear to me that the more time I spent watching any particular animal, the more I would understand their subtle genius. Whether these things be instinct or deliberate calculations didn't seem clear at first, but now i believe that a great deal of it was deliberate. They aren't just rooting around in the dark, grasping blindly. They are thinking a great deal. I believe that we do not attribute their actions with intent because it is extremely difficult for us to judge anothers intentions without facial expressions, words or gestures designed to communicate. Take for instance, the story of the king (from somewhere in either Africa or the middle east) who buried his treasure out in the desert and to find it, he took with him a camel and it's baby. He slaughtered the baby at the location of the treasure he had buried, making sure the mother watched, and from that day, the camel never forgot the location of its dead baby, taking the king back to his treasure many many years later (I think it was 30). We do not understand the function that allows some animals to remember the location of things like this, it may be instinct, it may be intellect, but either way, it is brilliant. This kind of information is extremely easy to find, if you don't believe me, do a small amount of exploring, or research for yourself. It is very easy for us to dismiss things like this, as it makes our lives a little less guilty.

2022.01.25 04:41 Lagoon12002 Magnificus honestly strikes me as a monster who never got a chance to enact his plans.
He, from the start of the game, has been spoken of as someone who isn't really known or even trusted. Adding to that, it seems that he is viewed as an actual danger to (presumably) anyone currently in charge of the game. Leshy intentionally cripples him by removing one of his eyes before sealing him into a card, which he had never had to do for the other two Scrybes, and even put him inside the puzzle-locked clock, which we would have never solved if not for Magnificus's preparations.
Which leads into the next topic. Magnificus's 'Eyes of Premonition', which apparently allows him to view beyond the veil and see the future (P03's plan was apparently predicted). He saw the OLD_DATA, he knew about the Karnoffel Code, and maybe even about how Inscryption came to be. His design is basic, a figure of green fur, spiraling eyes and a skeletal hand holding aloft a brush (Having no apparent mouth makes me uneasy). Maybe he was the first Scrybe to be created?
But in the Second Act is where we find truly suspicious information. Rebecha, the bridge lady, talks about him: "Mysterious guy... We all have our theories of course. Some say he actually wants... No, it's too terrible to say. Woof." It cements the idea that his motives are unknown and dangerous.
victims apprentices have all been put under mental and physical torture, teetering on the edge of insanity and show frenzied emotion at the idea of their master will give them a scrap of acknowledgment. And when you reach the top of the Tower, he doesn't care. They are failures to him.
And when you reach the Finale, he is... panicky, in denial that the end was coming, trying to stretch out the amount of time allotted to him. I got the impression that the battle was just the ends to the means, the last thing he can try to survive. He resisted the deletion, and even held on when the surroundings collapsed around him, but he did not care that this was his last card battle, but that this was his death. That everything he had worked towards had been thrown away, that he had so much to live for, he had so much to do.
So many plans to enact.
I was glad that he was erased before he could touch me. Because whatever he was going to do, it was not shaking my hand.
In the end, this is just my theory. Too little information. There is still mysteries in Inscryption. For example, what was the boat going to be used for? Why does the Kraken card exist? What are the symbols carved into the stump cards? How did Rebecha end up in Inscryption, when she is a The Hex character?

2022.01.25 04:41 veggie205 easy 4 unit GEs
so I’m a first year and I messed up pretty bad on my schedule. I ended up adding a class that I already took through my community college. I talked to an advisor and he said I couldn’t get credit for the class. The rest of my schedule is super heavy and I’ve been emailing instructors in hopes of PTA codes but so far none of them have let me add (understandably). does anyone have an easy GE recommendations :/ I’m stressing out. thanks in advance!

2022.01.25 04:41 Mr_Propane A thought I just had about the scene where Data Jahad reveals his monstrous form to Bam.
As you already seen, right after revealing this form to him Bam freezes and his eye's go wide, and the next panel is a hazy gray image with black shapes on it. Bam then attacks Jahad without even thinking before regaining control of himself and questioning why he just did that.
Now when I first read this I thought he was just attacking him out of some instinctive fear of a monster and I didn't even remember the gray panel. Thinking about it now though, Bam's seen all sorts of weird creatures in the Tower that could be called monsters and he's never shown a reaction like this before.
To me, his reaction looked like a flashback. Perhaps Jahad killed Bam while in his monster form and the gray image was a very hazy, deeply buried memory of the event? I mean, if there's one memory that would stay buried in his subconscious even after his resurrection, it would probably be the one where a freaky tentacle monster kills him.
Bam also said he felt like he was "returning home" when entering the Floor of Death. Both of these instances lead me to believe that the Bam we know is the same one that was killed by Jahad, not a completely new being that was placed in his body as many seem to believe. What are your thoughts on this?
